Certificate Requirements (12 credits)

Students may only enroll in the certificate in conjunction with a degree-seeking program. Please see the Undergraduate Certificate Programs page for more information.

Eligibility: Students in any major.

To enroll in this program, students must be able to read music and have some knowledge of basic music theory. Prospective students will need permission from the School of Music’s Area Coordinator of Music Theory before starting the program. Contact information for the Area Coordinator of Music Theory may be found on the School of Music website.

Courses in this certificate program require department permission for registration. Course registration priority will be given to students enrolled in the BM in Music Technology and Production degree track.
