Prerequisites

An undergraduate degree in Biology or a related field, or a minimum of 12 credit hours of upper-level undergraduate biology courses if the undergraduate degree is unrelated to biology.

Grades of "B" or better are required in all graduate courses. Students must apply to graduate by the published deadline during their final semester.

Earn at least 33 credits from the following:

Any 5000 or 6000 courses with the following course codes: BCH, BOT, BSC, FAS, MCB, PCB, ZOO

Note: BSC6971: Graduate Thesis Defense and BSC6840: Critical Skills in Science may NOT count towards the MA degree. BSC5930 Biology Seminar may be repeated for 2 credits towards this degree.
