The College of Arts and Sciences is privileged to have the leadership and commitment of its Dean's Leadership Council. The Council's mission is to foster a vital relationship between the College and the community that it serves. The College is honored that the following individuals have given at least $2,000 per year to the College and have committed to serving the Arts and Sciences with their time and their talent:

Headshot of John (Jack) AllenJohn J. “Jack” Allen

Jack is an investor. He is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics and is a licensed Florida real estate broker.  Jack’s continuing service to the community is evidenced by his present commitments to the Boards of Trustees of the 成人AV视频 Foundation and the Museum of Contemporary Art – Jacksonville. 

Rahul DeshmukhDr. Rahul Deshmukh

Dr. Rahul Deshmukh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, advanced arthroscopy, minimally invasive joint replacement and trauma. Dr. Deshmukh received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. During his time there, he served as the assistant physician for the Boston Celtics. As a Jacksonville native, Dr. Deshmukh is proud to bring his expertise as a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon to his local community. He is the current Chief of Orthopedics and Director of the Orthopedic Center of Excellence for Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside. 

Dr. Deshmukh is committed to giving back to the Jacksonville community and serves as a Board Member of The Bridges of Northeast Florida, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities and helping them remain connected and engaged in their community. 

Sujata Deshmukh

Sajata W. Deshmukh

Sujata W. Deshmukh is the founder of SWD Advisory, an independent consultancy providing strategic advice to public and private technology companies on market opportunities, communications and investor relations. Previously, Sujata held leadership roles in technology research and strategy and began her career in equity research and financial communications. She holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. 

Sujata currently serves as a Trustee of The Bolles School and as Vice President of The Bridges of Northeast Florida, a nonprofit focused on helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain connected, supported and engaged in their communities. She has also mentored robotics students at Guardian Catholic School and volunteers as a judge for FIRST Tech robotics at regional, state and international competitions. She is a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2027.

Jonas Gredenhag

Jonas Gredenhag

Jonas Gredenhag came to the United States from Sweden as an exchange student during high school. He later returned to Jacksonville and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from 成人AV视频 in 2000. He has worked at the PGA TOUR for 25 years in various positions, including web development and Data Center Operations, and is currently serving as Vice President of Golf Technology, where he is responsible for the ShotLink Scoring System at over 100 golf tournaments worldwide. Jonas also works as the Information Officer of the International Golf Federation, representing golf in the Olympic Games.  He has served on community boards and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Juliette '99, '02, and their four children.

Juliette (Julie) Gredenhag

Julie is a double 成人AV视频 Alumna! Julie earned a Double Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English with a minor in French in 1999. During her undergraduate studies she spent a summer semester at the American University of Paris in 1997. She earned her Master of Arts in English from 成人AV视频 in 2002.  

Supporting 成人AV视频 and its College of Arts and Sciences is important for creating a better future in Jacksonville and in our world.  It has been an honor for her to help establish study abroad scholarships for both COAS and the College of Business students and to support French and Francophone Studies at 成人AV视频. The Cascone Family Foundation established the Cascone Family Foundation French and Francophone Studies Professorship.  

Julie is a Jacksonville native who has served on various community and school boards and committees and enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonas (2000 graduate of 成人AV视频 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences), and their four children.

Veronica is retired from the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of African Art in Washington, D.C. She worked there for 20 years, from 1987-2007, and served as its curator of education in the National Museum of African Art. She received a master’s degree in painting from The University of Alabama and a Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) in art education from Indiana University Bloomington. Veronika and her husband, Rip Stockho, moved to Fleet Landing in 2020. Veronika is a lead supporter of the Ceramics Visiting Artist Workshop. 

Mark E. LewisMark E. Lewis

Mark has more than 34 years of experience in the Medical Device Industry with 31 of those years at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. He has extensive Project Management and Process Engineering expertise in new product development and commercialization. Mark and his wife, Yulin, provide support for students in 成人AV视频’s College of Art and Sciences through their family foundation.  

Yulin LewisYulin Lewis

Yulin obtained her Masters degree in Physiological Optics from the University Houston in the College of Optometry. She had worked as a senior scientist at Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, Inc. in Jacksonville for over 13 years and later worked on Medical research with Medpace, Inc. for over 10 years. Yulin’s passion is in helping students achieve their goals in life.

Katie is a Jacksonville Native. She earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science, Social Work, from Florida State University. Additionally, she earned an associate of Science, Nursing, from Florida State University. She is a retired U.S. Navy Social Worker and retired Mayo Clinic Registered Nurse. Her board affiliations have included the National Association of Social Workers, Catholic Charities, St. Johns County Historic Resource Board, and the Board of the Mental Health Resource Center. Katie is a 1990 graduate of Leadership Jacksonville. Katie supports her mother’s scholarship, the Harriet LeMaster French Scholarship Endowment, that helps students interested in French studies, minor in French language, or any other French degree study abroad.

After living overseas throughout her childhood, Christina moved to Jacksonville at the end of high school. She is an Alumna of the 成人AV视频, earning her Bachelor of Arts Spanish in 1995. Christina is a Realtor for the McIntosh Group: Engel & Völkers, Jacksonville. She and her husband, Steven, have four children.

John J. OsbornJohn J. Osborn 

John had more than 35 years of continuous service with Lockheed Martin Corporation before his recent retirement in the Fall of 2015. He has extensive technical and program leadership background and experience in developing products for the US Army, US Air Force, and the US Customs Service, as well as civilian, commercial and international customers. Additionally, he had over 17 years of experience with intelligence community programs through the development and integration of enhanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets.

Donald Riederer

Donald (Don) Riederer

Don is a research fellow in materials R&D at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.   He holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University and a B.S in Chemistry from Allegheny College.  He enjoys outdoor activities and music.  Originally from Pennsylvania, he now lives in Jacksonville with his wife and two daughters.

Rhodes is a triple Alumnus of North Carolina State University, earning his Master of Science, Wildlife Biology, Bachelor of Science, Wildlife Biology, and Bachelor of Science, Textile Technology. He is a wildlife biologist, Certified Environmental Professional, and Professional Wetland Scientist. During his career, Rhodes has conducted environmental studies throughout the Southeastern United States and Eastern Caribbean on over 1,000,000 acres of land. He has extensive experience in large-scale planning and permitting projects, conducting and coordinating master plans, developments of regional impacts, environmental impact statements, and mitigation banks. Rhodes and his wife, Sarah, live in Queen’s Harbor. Rhodes is an Honorary Alumnus and has been a dedicated member of the Council for over 15 years. Rhodes and Sarah established the Robinson Family Scholarship Endowment for Environmental Studies, Environmental Sciences, or Biology students.

Stephanie Rush

Stephanie Rush

Stephanie Rush is a 成人AV视频 alumna, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in English and History before going on to receive her Master of Public Health. After graduate school, Stephanie spent several years in the non-profit sector, serving and educating youth, before taking an unexpected turn into entrepreneurship. 

Today, Stephanie is the owner and operator of three The Spice & Tea Exchange locations in Jacksonville’s San Marco neighborhood, Savannah, Georgia and The Villages, Florida. With TEAm Rush, she strives to build businesses centered not only on food and tea, but also on finding joy in curiosity, creativity and community. When not commuting to Savannah, Stephanie lives in St. Augustine with her husband, three boys and a flight of tea named cats!
