Mission
The 成人AV视频 (成人AV视频) fosters an AI-enriched learning, research, and operational ecosystem where students, faculty, staff, and the community engage with, understand, and leverage artificial intelligence to drive innovation and impact.
Vision

Additionally, 成人AV视频 will be at the forefront of AI research and development, contributing to advancements in the field and preparing graduate and future leaders to harness AI for the benefit of society. Through community engagement and workforce development initiatives, 成人AV视频 will ensure that the benefits of AI extend beyond the campus, fostering a collaborative environment that supports lifelong learning and societal progress.

Pillars of Excellence AY 2024-25 Updates:
成人AV视频’s AI strategy is built on four foundational pillars:
AI in Academic Excellence
Objective: Integrate AI into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for the future workforce in partnership with faculty. Support faculty course development and AI learning objectives.
- Curriculum Expansion: 13 AI-related credit-bearing courses are now offered (+8.3% from baseline), with a 2-year goal of 20. Student enrollment reached 426 for Spring and Summer 2025, an 8% increase over the same terms in 2024.
- Digital Badging: Two student-facing AI badges are now available, with 1,277 total completions (+58%). Completion and satisfaction rates remain high (85%).
- Certificates: While 9 credit-bearing certificates are in development, proposals are still progressing through APC; this remains a key area for acceleration.
- Faculty Development: Four AI-focused faculty development sessions were delivered in Spring 2025, with 50 faculty participants and a 96% satisfaction rate. Planning is underway for AY26.
- Policy & Tracking: The AI Council approved 成人AV视频’s stance on AI detection tools and published guiding principles and implications language for multiple 成人AV视频 policies to the AI website.
AI in Research Excellence
Objective: Position 成人AV视频 as a leader in AI research by fostering innovative and impactful research projects.
- AI Faculty Fellow: Dr. Josh Gellers was selected as 成人AV视频’s AI Faculty Fellow for AY26, the first position of its kind in Florida.
- Internal Funding: $40,000 in AI Innovation Grants was allocated by ASA for FY26, continuing the momentum from AY25. The number of applications more than doubled from AY25, and four new projects were selected.
- Research Output: The number of AI scholars continues to increase, and their AI-related research outputs rose from 218 to 238 (+9%), on track for 2-year goals.
- Symposia & Engagement: Four research-related sessions were held in Spring 2025, including the AI Symposium and Ethics and Safety pop-up.
- Infrastructure: CCEC and ITS are exploring the development of an AI lab in Building 15.
AI for Operational Excellence
Objective: Leverage AI to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of university operations.
- AI Champions Program: 5 ITS staff are designated as AI Champions. They delivered 23 training sessions, reaching 476 employees (approximately 25% of FT staff) with a 4.71/5.00 satisfaction rating.
- Enterprise & Security Solutions: AI features have been enabled in multiple student- and employee-facing tools, with additional enhancements under development.
- Governance: AI-related features in Workday HCM have been approved by Data Governance and are progressing toward implementation.
AI in Workforce and Community Excellence
Objective: Integrate AI into community engagement efforts to address local challenges, including enhancing education and training opportunities to respond to workforce needs.
- Non-Credit Credentials: 13 workforce/community badges are now available (+10%).
- Free AI Certificate: Planning is underway for a no-cost AI certificate for community members, in collaboration with ITS, ASA, and PLL.
- Partnership Development: PLL staff have completed AI training to support data-driven partnership development, and the AI Council attended a workshop delivered by Florida Blue/GuideWell talent development.
