Parent and Family Orientation

At 成人AV视频, we feel parents and families play a vital role in their student’s college success. During Parent and Family Orientation, you will learn about 成人AV视频 and the many programs available to your student. Our faculty, staff and student leaders welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss all aspects of your student's enrollment with you.

Parent and Family Orientation
Orientation is more fun with family! New Student Orientation is mandatory for incoming students, and though it is not mandatory for parents or family members to attend Orientation, we highly encourage you to sign up to gain valuable insight into your student's future at 成人AV视频. Registered family members will attend on the same date(s) as their student. Some portions of Parent and Family Orientation will follow alongside the New Student Orientation schedule, while others will occur separately.
Attendance Requirements
Incoming students: Attendance at all scheduled programming is mandatory. Students participating in overnight sessions will stay on campus at Osprey Fountains Residence Hall.
Family members: Attendance is flexible, and you may come and go as needed during your session.
Travel and Accommodations
Students registered for overnight sessions are required to stay on campus at Osprey Fountains Residence Hall unless an exemption has been provided. We do not have on-campus lodging available for family members. If you will be traveling, we recommend planning ahead for accommodations. We have a for your reference. The hotels that 成人AV视频 partners with have discounts available depending on the date and room type selected.

Registration Details
Students registered for an in-person New Student Orientation can add family members to their registration in their Applicant Portal.
Cost: $75 per family member (nonrefundable)
How to Register:
- Log into the Applicant Portal
- Select your current application
- Click the Orientation tab
- Under the Parent and Family header, select "Add a Guest"
- Pay for the registration(s)
- Reload the Orientation tab to add family member Name, Email, and T-Shirt size
Deadlines and Adjustments
Students are able to add family members, pay for registrations, and edit paid registration details in the Applicant Portal until the deadline.
Deadline for registration: Five days prior to the student's scheduled session
If you need to register after this time, we will have walk-in registration available at your student's check-in location. Once your student checks in for New Student Orientation, the Applicant Portal Orientation tab will reopen so that you may register. Cost and registration process will remain the same.

Experiencing Financial Hardship? We understand that circumstances can vary, and we don’t want financial concerns to prevent you from participating in Parent and Family Orientation. If you would like to attend but are unable to afford the registration fee, please reach out to us at parents@unf.edu. We’re happy to discuss available options with you.
