Typography

Typography is a fundamental part of 成人AV视频’s visual brand. It contributes to clarity, hierarchy, and personality. The fonts we use help establish mood, tone, and readability in both digital and print media. All communications should follow these guidelines to maintain consistency and strengthen brand recognition.

Core Fonts

The 成人AV视频’s primary fonts are Friz Quadrata, used in the 成人AV视频 logo, and Open Sans.

Font Style / Use Weights & Styles Where to Use
Open Sans Sans-serif, clean, highly readable Condensed Light, Light, Regular, Semi-Bold, Bold, Extra-Bold; each with italics. Primary body copy, captions, subheads; wherever clarity and legibility are essential.
Friz Quadrata Distinctive serif / display typeface One family (caps, small caps, etc.) as used in the logo Headlines, special treatment, logo / monogram uses. Not for large blocks of text.

Open Sans

Open Sans is a sans-serif typeface and is available in six weights: Condensed Light, Light, Regular, Semi-Bold, Bold and Extra-bold. Each weight has an accompanying italic style.

Friz Quadrata

Friz Quadrata is the recognizable font used in the monogram and descriptor of our 成人AV视频 logo. This font can be used in headlines and minimally for special uses, but should not be used for body copy or a substantial amount of text.

Expressive / Alternative Fonts

These fonts are for use when you want to add personality or emphasize certain pieces. Use sparingly. They should complement, not replace, our core typefaces.

Typeface Name Personality / Tone Appropiate Uses
Firula Black (Fun Script) Playful, informal, energetic, decorative Display headlines, event posters, invitations, social graphics where informal tone suits. Do not use for body copy.
MonteCarlo (Elegant Script) Elegant, refined, formal, decorative flourish Formal invitations, certificates, large display headings, signage that requires elegance. Use minimal text.
Montserrat (Alternative Sans Serif) Contemporary, geometric, versatile Secondary headings, sub-headers, sidebars, pull-quotes, digital graphics. Good when a stronge sans serif is needed than Open Sans.
Argent CF Serif (Alternative Serif) Classic serif, editorial / scholarly feel, more formal tone ody text in print pieces (reports, brochures), longform articles or printed work; pull quotes; where a serif feels more appropriate.

Alternate for Open Sans Condensed

Because Open Sans Condensed is not always available in Microsoft programs or for all users, we specify Arial Narrow as an acceptable alternative when Open Sans Condensed is not available. Arial Narrow is widely available and similarly narrow in form.
  • Use Arial Narrow in lieu of Open Sans Condensed for Microsoft Office applications, shared documents, or any platform where Open Sans Condensed cannot be reliably embedded or used.
  • Ensure consistency: weight & style choices (e.g. bold, italic) should approximate the intended Open Sans Condensed version.
  • When possible (for print or when using brand fonts), revert to Open Sans Condensed to maintain visual consistency.

Hierarchy & Pairing Recommendations

  1. Headlines / Display: Open Sans Condensed Bold
  2. Sub-headings / Secondary Titles: Friz Quadrata or strong Open Sans weights.
  3. Body Copy: Open Sans or Argent CF Serif (if serif style is more suitable), depending on the medium.
  4. Captions / Labels / Small Text: Open Sans Light or Condensed (or Arial Narrow as needed). Avoid script or decorative fonts at small sizes.
  5. Emphasis / Pull-quotes: Use expressive or alternative fonts (MonteCarlo, Montserrat) but sparingly.

Legibility & Accessibility

  • Always ensure sufficient contrast between text and background.
  • Script and decorative fonts should be used only when legibility at display sizes is assured; avoid using them over complex backgrounds.
  • Avoid extreme letter-spacing or styling that makes reading difficult, especially for body text.
  • For digital/web, ensure font choices degrade gracefully if the intended font is unavailable (fallback fonts defined).
