Departmental Guidelines (Evaluation, Promotion, Tenure)

成人AV视频BOT-UFF Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Article 9: Guidelines for Application of University Criteria outlines the process for adopting departmental guidelines for faculty evaluation, promotion, and tenure.

Evaluation guidelines may be developed for a unit to assist chairs / directors / supervisors in applying the university criteria during the performance evaluation process, and to provide guidance to faculty members in achieving standards of performance corresponding to the evaluation ratings.

Promotion guidelines may be developed to provide guidance to faculty members regarding expectations and criteria for promotion and tenure. Each department / school may adopt guidelines that clarify the application of university criteria in terms more appropriate or specific to the discipline.

These guidelines may clarify, but not delete from, conflict with, or change in any substantive manner the existing university criteria.

University criteria for evaluation, promotion, and tenure will be used if a department / school does not have approved guidelines. See the following CBA articles for university criteria:

  • Article 18: Performance Evaluations
  • Article 19: Evaluations for Library Faculty
  • Article 20: Tenure
  • Article 21: Promotions for Tenure-Earning and Tenured Faculty
  • Article 22: Promotions for Library Faculty
  • Article 23: Promotions for Instructors and Lecturers
  • Article 24: Promotions for Clinical Faculty
