Cookie Fix
Sweet Success: Michelle Clipp Brings Cookie Fix to Florida
Michelle Clipp’s love affair with Cookie Fix began in 2017 during a family visit to Alabama. The gourmet cookie brand left a lasting impression, and when she learned the company was franchising, Michelle saw the perfect opportunity to turn her passion into a business.
Fast forward to today, Michelle has proudly opened Florida’s first Cookie Fix location at 2020 Hendricks Ave. in the heart of historic San Marco, Jacksonville. The bakery and retail shop brings Alabama’s beloved cookie experience to the Sunshine State, and it all started with a dream and a plan.
Michelle partnered with SBDC at 成人AV视频 consultant Marge Cirillo, who played a pivotal role in shaping her entrepreneurial journey. Marge assisted Michelle in refining her business plan, developing financial projections, and navigating local regulations to form her LLC. Once the plan was solid and the location secured, Marge connected Michelle with Pineland Bank, where she successfully secured a $630,000 SBA loan to build out and launch the store.
With funding in place, Michelle made the bold decision to leave her career in healthcare sales and pursue business ownership full-time. The Cookie Fix store recently held its soft opening, drawing enthusiastic crowds thanks to strong media coverage and social media buzz.
“Marge and her team were instrumental in many things,” Michelle shared. “They introduced me to key contacts like Pineland Bank, helped me polish my business plan and financials, and most importantly, they were supportive and constructive, making both me and my plan stronger.”
Michelle’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs? “Live with a growth mindset and create your board of directors early. Know your strengths and areas of opportunity and build a team that complements you so you can play to your strengths.”
From cookie lover to cookie boss, Michelle Clipp’s story is a testament to the power of preparation, partnership, and passion. Check out online or visit the store in San Marco!
