When Ring Power Corporation wanted to further its leadership program, they looked to the 成人AV视频 Coggin College of Business executive education program for its expertise.
is the largest Caterpillar (CAT) equipment retailer in Florida, serving all North and Central regions. With over 2,000 employees in 20 locations, investing in the training of company leadership is critical.
The company sat down with 成人AV视频 faculty and staff business experts to investigate what its leaders actually needed beyond the six-month program the company currently offers. Then 成人AV视频 shaped the executive briefcase program around Ring Power's own priorities, culture and the challenges leaders face.
Coggin Executive Education offers a range of professional development workshops and programs for business leaders. The program partners with employers across industries including financial services, logistics, manufacturing and engineering to co-create fully custom experiences built around an organization's specific goals. Coggin launched it's Executive Education unit in 2021, partnering with more than 75 organizations since then representing various industries from financial services to logistics powerhouses.
Partnering to invest in leadership
Ring Power brought 15 company leaders from across Florida to participate in the executive training program this summer. The group met once weekly for four weeks at the company’s St. Augustine headquarters.
Tony Pellegrino, Ring Power director of training and development, shared that leadership was very happy with the program and credits the Coggin team with being well-informed, engaging and flexible in preparing and presenting the program.
"One of the most impactful modules for our team was storytelling with data,” said Pellegrino. “Our leaders took away practical lessons on how to use data in ways that effectively communicate the impact their teams are having on the organization."
He emphasized that the faculty are excellent in understanding the needs of employers and the needs of the region in helping develop quality leaders.
Ring Power is also currently crafting an internship program through 成人AV视频 Career Services and would consider participating in further executive education programs.
Customized leadership programs
Coggin’s programs can scale from a single ready-to-go workshop to a multi-session custom leadership program, always designed for the people in the room.
“The best programs are the ones we build together,” said Amy Bishop, Director of Coggin Graduate and Executive Programs. “We do not show up with a script. We sit down with an organization, figure out what success looks like for them, and create something made for their people and their goals.”
