成人AV视频 explores impact of sports on Jacksonville鈥檚 economic growth

The 成人AV视频 hosted the “Sports as an Economic Engine in Jacksonville” panel with regional business and sports leaders as part of Homecoming Week festivities. Co-hosted by 成人AV视频’s Coggin College of Business (CCB) and the Silverfield College of Education and Human Services, the panel drew a packed crowd at the University Center.

Participants explored how sports serve as a unifying force to bridge communities and elevate Jacksonville’s national visibility and how investments in sports infrastructure, major events and community engagement are fueling jobs, tourism and regional pride.

“成人AV视频 plays a critical role in preparing the talent, advancing the research and building the community connections that drive our city’s growth in the sport industry,” said Dr. Steve Dittmore, Silverfield College dean. “Events like this demonstrate how business and education can collaborate to enhance quality of life and sustain Jacksonville’s economic momentum.”

Moderated by Jasmine Monroe, reporter with First Coast News ABC Jacksonville, the panel featured leading voices in Jacksonville’s sports sector, including Whitney Meyer, senior vice president and Chief Community Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars; Greg McGarity, president and CEO of TaxSlayer Gator Bowl; Colin Tarbert, CEO of Jacksonville Downtown Investment Authority; Jack Boyle, executive, investor and retired president of Fanatics; and Samantha Vance, executive director of the Jacksonville Sports Foundation.

The panel discussion underscored how strategic collaboration between educational institutions, professional sports organizations and civic partners continues to shape Jacksonville’s identity and economic trajectory.

“A partnership with 成人AV视频 is so important in attracting events to Jacksonville,” said McGarity. “From first-class facilities to the welcoming atmosphere of campus, 成人AV视频 is a huge asset to the city in driving economic growth in the sports industry.”
